July 2015 hosted by PYLAT council
PYLAT kicked the night off with a feast like no other, followed by one of their iSPEAK debates bringing together two MPs to discuss the history of the flag, whether the $26 million being spent on it was work it and what a new flag would
mean for NZ. This was followed by a cultural competency workshop looking at some of the thoughts around being inclusive and creating a space for all people to feel like they belong. |
July 2014 hosted at Addington Coffee Co-op
Those who had come to the first Hui as well as new members were invited to come together, share some food and drink and discuss the future of YVC.
The night consisted of an update on the Results of the Youth Wellbeing Survey, an update on the development on the YVC website and a presentation on the vision of YVC. The main focus of the evening was the conversation café to unpack the ideas from the previous Hui which led into open discussion and idea-sharing about what’s next for YVC. |
